History of the band
Wild Demise is a metal band from Cancún México that initiated in the winter-spring of 2007 with Rudy Lozano (guitar and Vocals) Fidel Canto (Drums) and Enrique Aceves (guitar). The band began to play metal cover songs. Later the band changed, writing original material already with the name of Wild Demise.
The name “Wild Demise” went out from a list of names that drew attention of the guitarist/vocalist Rudy Lozano. The concept was the end of our times; end of our era; end of life itself thanks to the force of the nature by our imprudence in mistreating it.
Alex Rodriguez (guitar) entered in March of 2007 replacing Enrique Aceves. Pedro “Piri" González (Bass) joined the band in April of that year .The band began to compose material to record an EP. Meanwhile looking for a keyboard player Rudy made programming of keyboards for those merits. After composing 5 songs Alesa Pelcastre (keyboards) entered as a session/live player.
In the lapse 2007-January May 2008 Wild Demise began to play in local events and several battle of bands. And with the songs the band started to record the first EP. Within the accomplishment of the EP the Bass player decided to focus in other projects and decided to leave the band. Soon Raul Rivas (Bass) helped as a session player until a new member was found. After November Wild Demise found Orlando “Sion” Recio (Bass) and incorporated to the band. The EP was finished and was released on 14 of March 2009 in the first edition of Wild Metal Fest and has given great satisfaction to the followers of the band.
The sound of Wild Demise is a fusion of many styles of music and subgenres of metal thanks to the diversity of musical tastes of the members. The style has popular metal of the 80' s, progressive metal, technical metal, black metal, death metal, thrash metal, power metal, orchestral music , movie soundtracks, jazz and among others musical sorts and tendencies.
